For anyone coming to the church, please only access the church from the south on Maple Street. Maple Street is one-way only at Ames so you cannot access the church from the north.

Since September 2014 a group has been gathering in the sanctuary around the Baptismal Font for a time of silent meditation practice. This weekly practice has been a blessed gift of quiet and stillness in the midst of our noisy and busy lives. Those who have been participating are committed to continuing and will be taking turns serving as host for the meditation time. (A sign-up sheet for volunteer hosts is located at the Welcome Center.) The practice usually includes a brief reading, poem, or scripture, a time of silent meditation (25 minutes), and a closing blessing. All are welcome! If you are interested, simply show up on any Thursday evening.
