Mission Sewing Project

In June, Pastor Donna helped us by bringing a box to Annual Conference that would go in the Midwest Mission Distribution Truck. The box contained 19 onesies, 50 layette jackets, 16 receiving blankets, and 9 diapers. A big thank you to Peg Jennings who made the layette jackets and to all the other sewers who are helping by sewing diapes and receiving blankets. This is an ongoing project of Mission Sewing. Mission Sewing is busy working on meeting goals for 2025. Our goal is to do 35 quilts for Operation Joy. We have completed 22 quilts. We are always looking for more people to help meet our goals. Our next meeting to tie quilts will be on August 27th. We meet at 9AM in Room 120.
